Use high street banks

High Street banks are banks that provide services to the general public, and not just businesses.

They also have many branches in different locations, as they are large retail banks. Examples of such banks in the UK are Barclays, Metro Bank, Lloyds, etc. These banks easily have the international transfer option.

They help you transfer your money in cash to your receipt in Nigeria. They send it to a corresponding bank in Nigeria so that your recipient has no trouble receiving it. You'll need to provide accurate details of your recipient, including their bank details.

It is important to state here that this option is quite expensive. You may consider other options if you are looking to save money.

Western union

Western Union is one of the oldest ways that international transfers are done. Before digital money transfer options became a thing, people used options like Western Union.

It is still an available option with which to send money abroad. You'll need to download the app and sign up.
