OhentPay currently offers two ways to send money across borders: Card Payments and Account Funding.

Previously, the only option was using your card, but we’ve expanded to give you more flexibility.

Let’s break down how you can send money without using the card option.

Step 1: Download & set up the OhentPay App

• Download the OhentPay app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Sign up and complete your KYC verification to start making transactions.

Step 2: Log in to your OhentPay account

• Open the app and log in using your PIN or biometric authentication (thumbprint, face ID).

Remember: Keep your account secure at all times!

Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Add Money’ button

• Click on "Add Money" from the home screen to select the currency you want to fund (e.g. GBP, USD, EUR, NGN).
• If you don't have an account number yet.. Click on "Get account details" to fund your account.

Step 4: Add a "Recipient"

• Click the “Send” button to perform a transaction.
• If you don’t have a saved recipient, tap "+" to add one.
• Enter their name, phone number, and bank details (or mobile wallet details).
• Select from 190+ countries and pick the currency you want to send.

Step 5: Make the transfer

• Select the amount and the account you want to send from.
• Enter your unique PIN to authorize the transaction.

Step 6: Confirmation & notification

• You’ll receive a confirmation message once the transfer is successful.
• Your recipient will also be notified when they receive the money.
